What Ever Happened To?...

Please enjoy this interview with me, Dan Renzi, and especially the main photo of my "Challenge" days when I had blond hair.

Here's the breakdown of my statistics, Dan Renzi, Challenge-wise, since people don't remember those shows as much.

Apparently "The Real World" is being brought back to online streaming, so I can't imagine the budget will be any good. Not that they spent much money on the show anyway. We certainly didn't get paid hardly anything. But did you know the show was still being filmed in 2017? I had no idea MTV was still showing it. I thought it had been cancelled for years.

I was digging through my computer for old photos and I found pics from when I was in Jamaica. Puck flew his girlfriend down, and they got married at the resort where we were living. And I was part of the ceremony, dressed as a mermaid.

I was going through some old photos in my computer, and I found these shots taken at Puck's wedding, while we were in Jamaica filming at Battle of the Sexes II. In the first photo is Lori, whom I adored; then there is Colin and Mark, who were so dreamy; and then I thought Eric was so cool. I did not want to participate in the cultural appropriation that bordered on offensive, with everyone's "tribal" costumes, so I dressed up as a mermaid. Good times. It was a fun show back then. We had fights but it was just drama, usually. Other than my initial "Real World" housemates, I got along with everybody really well and had a lot of fun. It's all so long ago. I remember bits of stuff, usually the moments that weren't being filmed; it's like thinking about high school. Weird memories pop into your head when you're thinking about high school, details like what your locker looked like or the noise of the lunch room. Here, I think about the way Veronica Portillo laughed when we were in Mexico, or when I got sick from the food in Jamaica, which was a bummer but no big deal. They didn't edit that into the show, which was nice of them. Life goes on.
