coming out party finally hits australia. although they didn't think i am that funny. this, from the country whose biggest comedic achievement is crocodile dundee. screw them!
"hooking up in the real world," hosted by coral and myself. it ended up pretty good.
"coming out" stories told by comedians and writers. not a comedy show, per se, but is often funny.

Your posts are never too long. Stay-at-home Mom from Detroit (actually Royal Oak) enjoys glimpses into your life. Glad to hear you are at work and safe for now. Cheers to you, your career, and TL.

Happy for you that you're still employed *and* getting to spend time with your honey, again!

I'd have been on the front steps crying, too. Seems to me the problem is and always was "the corporation." I'm glad there was a happy ending.

Yay TL is back! I'm surprised you had time to post here.

I am so glad you have a job. Sorry about those other newspapers, that sucks balls!
SO so glad TL is back, if he only knew he had a following in this www! Can't wait to hear the TL stories, I wish we knew what he did that took him to all these places, model perhaps?

A wonderful boyfriend AND a job? What a great day for you! Congratulations!

seriously, this is the most informative piece i've seen on the wm debacle since reading the doors were shut....thanks for the info...

Indeed, thanks for shedding light on on this....and happiness to you and TL :)

Congratulations on your continued employment and having your other half back! Look forward to reading the new publication.

I worked freelance for gay newspapers back east for several years but got out of the print media game just because I foresaw that it was declining. There are about a quarter of the papers that there used to be. So many of my friends either left later on or are struggling to find work in print media. One friend who worked for a gay print publication in South Carolina has had to move all over the country because he couldn't see doing any other kind of work. I don't think gay print publications will die but the Internet sure has made things difficult for them. Maybe if the company gives the government some money they will let you have access to the old articles. Good luck in the new office and congrats on your boyfriend coming back. How long is he here for?

So glad you are still employed! I hate that everyone's web sites are getting shut down, because all of those stories are gone. Not only your publications, but all the stories of my youth in Atlanta with Southern Voice. Even when Gaywired shut down, I lost all the stories I had written for them. You would think in this day and age that it would be easier to store and keep them. Alas, not so.

T.L. is back. When are you going to write about him again? Your funny conversations? I enjoy reading them and laughing... Is he back for good?

It may be accept by citizens so conveniently. I imagine some people will agree with you. That you're suitable that we are able to to not rely on other people. Who we could to rely on is ourself.

Just exhibits that writing via encounter brings so a lot of depth and relevance to ones readers. Thank you for sharing.
