My Work Stuff

coming out party finally hits australia. although they didn't think i am that funny. this, from the country whose biggest comedic achievement is crocodile dundee. screw them!
"hooking up in the real world," hosted by coral and myself. it ended up pretty good.
"coming out" stories told by comedians and writers. not a comedy show, per se, but is often funny.

You are beautiful always, no matter what ;)

Dan - I love the hair, baby. It's an insane amount of work though, no? I used to do it religiously myself, and then I had kids and now I barely have time to WASH my hair, much less touch up the roots.

I think the reason so many people don't like it is because, well, we're not good with change, us humans. Sorry, sa way it is. Will you be as funny and smart with blonde hair? Is Robin Williams as funny without the Coke? Yes. And methinks that was probably harder to do.

But I like it. I think as you spend more time outside in the sun, and you get a little bit of color on your face, that will help. And get some of that John Frieda Blonde shampoo, its really good for softening up the brassy.

We all met you with dark hair and that's how we are use to seeing you. But the blond is cute and fun; it suits you well! Just be careful that you don't end up having a Tina Turner moment (hair breaking off due to over processing). That happened to me but I just buzzed it off and felt so liberated!

I hope I didn't offend you (;. It still looks very nice. I'm just more of a brunette person in general.

You look fab, sweetie. Just be You and you'll always be gorgeous.

i understand now dan!! thanks babe.. =).

Why are you justifying your choice to dye it? If you like it, that's all that matters. Oh and it matters just a little bit if I like it -- and I do.

You look hot. Don't listen to those haters. ;-)

I just wanted to say that you might be working against yourself, though, with the whole bleaching thing. Bleach is very harsh and can damage not only hair but also the follicles. I did it for a couple years and my hair has never returned to it's former health and stunning beauty. Oh well, live and learn.

Also, if you're in the market for a natural supplement, try biotin. It's a B vitamin. It probably won't cause your lost hair to regrow but it can prevent any more from falling out.

I was one of the people who commented on the hair thing - you look fine both ways - as you said what matters ishat you want - my comments were not judgemental.

I love you blond, I loved you brunette and I will love you bald! You are gorgeous no matter what!!

Dan. You're hot, no matter what. If you're going bald, you might consider a close-cropped haircut, or a "buzz cut." I've seen several balding men do that, and it looks good on them, with out attempting to hide their hair loss. Just a thought. I bet you'd look great with one.

The alternative could have been carrying that 'spray paint hair' in a can around in the Mexican Jungle. Eck.

Now that you're blonde, go grab a few bottles of toner. You could be champagne one day then blue and silver the next. Little hints of color. Fabulous.

I dyed my hair blonde for two reasons, it was getting thin and I had a few grey hairs. The blonde covered both. It was fun, my friends liked it and it made me feel like a different person, a different personality in me came out. I really liked when I was able to get the color almost white which is hard to do starting with brown hair. Dan, I think you look great, you should keep it although it's a lot of work keeping it light. try the blue shampoo to take out the brassy tone.

Hi guy, I told you you're very cute now and I think that you'd be cute the same way with dark, blue, pink or without your hair at all.
I'm so sorry I can't watch your show, here in Italy...unfortunately (if we are so lucky) it will arrive in a couple of years.. so it is.
Have fun, and never justify your choice: you're great.

You can do your hair whatever color you like, as far as I'm concerned.

But regarding hair loss, I er, used to have this problem (didya know that if you get pneumonia, it can start your hair falling out? for SIX MONTHS? Oy. And I didn't want to go the Susan Powter route), and I didn't want to use Rogaine and crap either. Hell, even the dermatologist didn't recommend that stuff.

However, I've got an easy suggestion that only involves a swap in shampoos: there's this stuff called Nioxin at beauty supply stores that made my hair grow back. It looks quite thick and fabulous now. I dunno how well it works on men, of course, but if you're interested, it's worth a shot. But if not, that's fine too, it's your head!

With your fantastic personality, who needs hair? Trust me Dan, you have it made. You could put a bag over your head and still be attractive. We have always loved you for your wit and charm!

Love it! It's hot. And yeah, who cares what others think?

I said I liked it from the get go so fuck those dudes. besides YES! blondes do have more fun!

You look cute. Your hair looks cute. If someday all your hair decides to fall out? You will still be extraordinarily cute.

Dan, no matter what ur hair looks like ur hott! Who cares what everyone else thinks.
