...I'll be in bed all day, reading Harry Potter.
ALL DAY.
~~~
Remember how I wanted to start a book club? And I read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time? Brilliant book. I was very excited to discuss.
Then I tried to pose some questions to the book's author, for the sake of the burgeoning book club's discussion. I didn't want to just make everything up on my own. It's not my book. After all, I emailed Gregory Maguire after I read Wicked, and he wrote back--in detail, answering all my questions--and I just asked him because I was curious for my own satisfaction. Cool guy, that Gregory Maguire.
Sadly...there's just a big, glaring message from the Curious author--paraphrased, it basically says "I'm too busy to answer questions, leave me alone, I'm writing another book and can't be disturbed." I was broken-hearted. Well not really, but a little annoyed, yes.
So I shelved the idea.
But I can handle Harry Potter on my own. I have all sorts of theories, and I'll post them as I read. There shant be any plot spoilers, fear not; I'm closing comments until I read the book all the way through, lest someone posts information I/you don't want to learn yet. I'll open them back up when I'm finished, and I'll monitor them to make sure people play fair.
Currently, I am on...uh...let me check...(pause)...page 176, the start of Chapter 10.
