This is Gurdy.
He is my cat.
I found him in a car tow lot, covered in grease, as a wee kitten.
His health issues are many.
He has a heart murmur.
His eyes are slightly crossed.
His right eye is oddly cloudy--increasingly so over the past few weeks, sadly--which is somewhat visible in the above photo ($200 of vet bills and eye drops may help fix, but we'll see).
He sneezes constantly. Allergies.
He has irritable bowel syndrome.
He has gas.
But don't let his shortcomings fool you.
He wrestles like a boss.
Love.
I think I love Gurdy.

Poor Gurdy. Love the first photo. Never had a gassy cat or knew them to even have gas. mmmmm. I have an indoor cat and an outdoor cat, both neighborhood rescues. They are both in and out tho.

I love that you rescued Gurdy. I have worked at Vet's offices and well, let's just say that I appreciate your good heart. I've seen some of the worst. And I do mean the worst. It's people like you who help me make it through the day sometimes.

My cat has irritable bowel too. Got that diagnoses after thousands of dollars in biopsies. Steroids and gluten free diet work great. But he's always hungry. Poor thing.
