Let's gossip a little, shall we?

1) The news that the remake of "Dirty Dancing" was put "on hold" is shocking because I did not realize a remake was actually in the works. I thought it was all just a big elaborate dream. BUT DREAMS DO COME TRUE.

They also have the potential to be nightmares.

Nothing with this movie matters except the two leads.  The rest is details, details, details. So can we all agree that Johnny needs to be played by Channing Tatum, and there's no more discussion?  Thank you.  Pay him whatever he wants, because the movie will be worth every penny he is given. 

For Baby, I'd enjoy Lea Michele.  But that's open to suggestions.

2) "America's Next Top Model" is flagging in the ratings--yes we watch the marathons on Oxygen, but when was the last time you watched a new episode?  Yeah, I don't remember either.  So the show's judges are being re-cast, although sometimes it's best to just put things to rest.

Now Oxygen is launcing a show with, yes, Tyra Banks' modeling arch-nemesis, Naomi Campbell.  Tyra claims Naomi is the reason she (Tyra) quit modeling!  (gasp!)  I'm sure Naomi's show will be awful..."bitch" doesn't translate to "host of a low-budget reality show."  Although it would be hard to see poor Tyra as a victim, as she undoubtedly falls asleep to a recording of the crying of past contestants from the almost-20 seasons of her show.  All those tears have made her millionz of dollarz. No sympathy here.

3) This looks CGI-cool, but I prefer the "Wicked" version in which he is a fascist.

4) Jessica Biel's commentary on the gorgeous engagement ring Justin Timberlake picked for her:

“[Justin] is fearless in his choices and has a real eye for design. And I’ll be honest: He has better taste than I do!” Biel said, explaining that Justin often helps her pick out what to wear.

"When I walk out of the closet after getting dressed in the morning, I’ll go like this [turns palms upward as if to say, ‘Well?’] And he goes like this [shakes his head no]. Then he picks again. It’s hilarious,” she continued.

Oh dear.  Sometimes we just don't want to know the things we already know, do we?
