Photos with my terrible cell phone camera of dogs at the shelter, who want nothing more than a little attention from someone:

It's heart breaking! I'd love to see a huge fee placed on dogs breed for purchase, the fee would go 100% toward funding no kill humane animal shelters and adoption programs.

Shelter dogs are the best. I hope someone takes a chance on all of these pups! They are adorable!

Dan, I volunteer at my humane society also. It's heartbreaking to see all the homeless animals. I wish more people would adopt and get their animals fixed.

My Teddy Dog was from the street and after 15 years when he passed we got another rescue dog at our local shelter. Ceasar is an amazing dog and both our dogs could and did stop traffic for both inner and external beauty. Many more complimemnts and less headaches than the pure bred dogs around us! -I know, I know a proud PaPa but the idea of any one NOT going to a shelter to get a dog is lunacy. Hi Dan-- great photos!
