I would like to remind you that Taylor Lautner, star of "New Moon," is only 16 years old and therefore if you are in your mid-20's or beyond there is no reason you should make purring, meowing, ruffing, grunting or any other sexually-suggestive sounds when he appears the movie screen. You are being gross and objectifying a teenager as a sexual object is disturbing.
That's all.
Dan Renzi

So is it gross if straight guys like me purr, meow, ruff (whatever that is), or grunt when he appears on screen?

Just to clarify. I have no intention of seeing said movie.
P.S. Dan, your facebook rejection of me is still something I'm coming to grips with. FYI, I didn't search, you just popped up when I registered.

Does this go for 32 year old straight women as well?..I'm thinking not ;)

Send me a friend request again! I accept/reject at random.

scooterzz is correct. Still kinda gross to fawn over a 17 year old like a school girl in heat...

Ok great, but what about the maker's of this film? They are completely innocent and in no way have objectified him right?

This made me laugh so hard, Dan!

I get that he has an impressive body, but I find his face as attractive as a bulldog's. OK, bulldog's are actually ugly/cute, but I just don't see the appeal. He does nothing for me.

Don't worry about me. I'm 55 and gay, and to me Taylor Lautner is like a kinda cute little puppy who will surely grow up to be a hot guy in 5 years, but even then he will be like a kid to me. I like men my own age and don't ever emit noises of excitement over anyone under 25, not even in the privacy of my own home.

Oh please honey, straight men were salivating for Britney Spears when she was flaunting her tatas on Rolling Stone. Why should gay men be any differen?
He's cute and has a rocking body, nothing worth going to jail for.

Yes, lots of heterosexual men were after Britney Spears when she was just a schoolgirl. That was gross as well. And that was entirely the intent, which is the cherry on the top of that shit cake.
I realize Taylor does not look like a typical 16 year old, so it's innocent to appreciate the fact that he is lovely. But adults can still control themselves and not scream at him like he's a piece of meat.

Hmm, so one becomes distusting after a certain age. When should all us Homos kill ourselves? When I was 18, I'd have thought 30. When 30, maybe 40. After 40, it now seems to me that being "Gay" is all about the worship of sex with young men & after 30 we are unwanted and should just stick our heads in the nearest gas oven. The more of "Gay Culture" I see now, the more I think that I should have been otherwise. It's impossible to legitimize a "lifestyle" which treats normal people as invisible.

Umm he is on a movie screen with his shirt off un-necessarily for most of the show. Which to me seems like it's inviting this kind of behavior. And unless a pack of hungry gay movie goers are going to hunt him down and gang rape him, I think it's all in harmless fun. So maybe we should lighten up a little.

Mid-20's or older? Sorry, if someone is 18 or 19, he is still just as underage, unless your ageism somehow obliterates reality. Also, how do you think the greedy corporate media have been marketing Taylor? As a poor dear little child? Did you see Rolling Stone this month?

They shouldn't have done this to Taylor. He is doomed for too much celebrity status and fame. He'll be another crack head (lets hope not). Too much fame for a young celeb causes trouble. Look at Lilo... poor girl.. Also he looks like a freak. To much muscle and too much muscle definition for a kid. Im attracted to muscle and definition but on him a child, looks odd... I hope he keeps his shirt on for another 4 yrs when he's 20!
