This place is awesome although it seemed like the shells are disappearing. I was there 3 years ago and then this past summer and there wasn't as many.

I was born in Tampa and remember running around on the beaches of Clearwater (on the Gulf side)collecting TONS of shells. When my family moved to California, I just couldn't understand why the beaches had no shells.
