It's after 2 in the morning. I just woke up from an oddly-timed nap. But I have work to do.
I just felt the need to share: my work is transcribing an interview with Cynthia Nixon, of "Sex And The City" fame, and I'm using a tape recorder with a speed control to slow down the tape so I can type easier. Her voice sounds really funny at this speed. She reminds me of my gym teacher. It keeps making me laugh, out loud, as I sit here by myself.
I'll post this when it's published.
She was exactly what you would want her to be: smart, well-informed, and she knew how to make her opinions relevant to the human experience rather than just a laundry list of facts. I am proud to say that I did NOT tell her that whenever I take the internet "Which Sex and the City character are you?" quiz, I always end up being Miranda.
And she wore a Diane von Furstenburg dress and Manolo Blannik shoes. She looked great. Those Diane von Furstenburg dresses don't hide anything, either, so you have to be in tip-top shape to wear them.
That's all. Gorgeous the Cat says hi.
