Dan, how did you not make money in Milan? I guess all the money went to the mafia. BTW, i was in Zurich at that time and happened to see you on Fashion TV on a runway ... it was cool to see you leave the Real World, heading to Milan and then several months later see you strutting your money maker down the runway! :)

I feel so old. Limelight on Fridays, Roxy on Saturdays, and Paledium on Sundays were the places to go when I went out in NYC back in the late 80s. Guys having sex in the "Lick It Lounge" was a must and the foam parties on Sundays were fun. As depressed as I was, I kinda miss my 20s.

Ha hahahah! Are you still recovering that??!??!! You rock Dan. Are you still seeing that guy? I do hope so.

    Dan,
No need to have someone video tape Ugly Betty for you. If you miss an episode all you need to do is go to www.abc.com and they have all the episodes for you to view online. And you can do this from work...no need to wait till you get home! Pretty cool, huh!

By the way I love your blog!

Boy did the linked post bring back memories for me. I remember the first time I went into Splash. I was terrified. I imagined all the toned and buffed guys would take one look at me and laugh derisively until I fled in tears. How foolish. I was simply ignored all night.

Years later I remember on Mardi Gras night I locked eyes with one guy and we started dancing and before I realized it his hand was in my pants. THAT was an interesting evening.

The place is indeed rather sterile now, but I only go on the occasional Musical Monday nights to sing along with the videos. It's a local crowd that night.
