First of all--did you see this:
Former Clay Aiken Fans Sue Record Label for False Advertising
Just when you thought that those "I'm suing McDonald's for making me fat" lawsuits were the dumbest thing you ever heard of.
~~
A few thoughts from this week's episode of Project Runway:
1) Santino's friend "Tony"? It's Tony Ward, star of Madonna stuff as well as Hustler White, a movie made famous by its celebration of amputee porn.
2) Did Chloe really live in a Laotian prison camp? I still can't even comprehend that. Especially when mentioned amidst Tim Gunn's criticisms of Daniel V's hem lines. This, on a show that spends ten minutes focused on Santino complaining that being "the bad guy" on the show is really stressful!... And oh yeah, Chloe was a political prisoner in Southeast Asia for a few years. And why doesn't Tim like Daniel V's sweaters?!? Life is so not fair.
3) Santino is so going to win. Although those big poofy dresses that Chloe made? That's totally what's coming in style. Go to a Marc Jacobs store sometime and see the 80's Prom looks he's rocking. Chloe knows what she's doing.
4) The footage of Tim Gunn chatting with Santino by the beach? And going shopping with Daniel V? That's going on his reel, for when he pitches his own talk show. The Tim Gunn Show will be coming to TV soon. You heard it here first.

Back to Idol: I write for a website called TVGasm, covering everything that is Idolmania. If you'd like to read last week's analysis, go here. This week's will be posted Friday-ish.

BPR had a link to a recent Houston Chronicle story on Chloe and her family. It's fascinating and a real immigrant's tale.
You are so right that all the big guns are showing shiny hint-of-80s stuff for Fall06. Check out the Milan & Paris shows!
Santino's gonna win, isn't he?
Karla's collection was my favorite and I really hope Bravo shows it or at least acknowledges it in some way.

WTF? LOL.. some dissapointed ladies are suing because...gasp....Clay Aiken is gay? what a hoot!!! Sigh.. I guess I should have sued when Donny Osmond didn't wait till 32 to get married (because I would have been old enough for him if he did), so he was out of the running... Oh the tragedy that is the life of a fan..

Woah Dan, talk about deep dude...someone just sent me this...
"This story is half truthful. What happened was John promised Clay a date with the gorgeous and perfect Aria Giovanni (who happens to be an adult star) Clay had pictures of her on his computer (even people who know Clay have said she was on his desktop at one time). They were gonna meet at a hotel because Aria was flying in. Aria (who like Clay, swings both ways) couldn't make it because her husband said she couldn't get involved with Clay (I guess he felt threatened by him or something) I guess John arranged everything. Clay talked to both Aria and John online but never met them in person. John was the only one who could make it that day. Clay told people that he really knew that he liked both men and women and was "bisexual" for the past two years and denied being "gay" but never denied being "bisexual" so if you think John is lying about the entire story, you are wrong. If you think that 90% of Hollywood is not guilty of doing the same thing, you are lying"

I was in the kitchen trying to find that machine that opens the beer bottles while Tony Ward was on the screen. I came back into the room and asked, "Did I miss anything?" That hateful man I married says, "No. Just some friends of Santino's or something."
And if you find men on Lamerican Idol sexy, might I suggest you get the hell out of Tejas soon?

Ripped off? Puh-leeze. It's their own fault that their gaydar wasn't working. We all knew he was GAY in his first audition.

i still don't know who tony ward is.

Dan, I must take control here and totally be the flamboyant, overdramatic gay man on this board!
Dear Santino,
I do not enjoy your face on my television screen. You see Santino Rice, I am an American, so from the time I could read the word Capitalism, I was trained to believe in the American Dream, even after I came out and realized it is actually the American Nightmare. Daniel V. is supposed to win this competition, he's supposed to win it because he worked hard throughout the season, and his collection is sophicated and delicate, reflecting Daniel V.'s personality. You Santino were manipulative, judgmental, and arrogant, and you only used Chiffon Chiffon Chiffon! Where the hell is my Chiffon?! But, reality television works in mysterious ways. You see, this competition could go down either way. The show seemed to be a big explanation as to why Daniel V. couldn't win (which subsequently would crush the majority of the audience) and Santino obviously had it going on. But, maybe Bravo has a trick up their sleeve. Maybe in those magical 48 hours, Daniel V. fixes the hem, puts those damn buttons on and sands those bags!
I know, I have far too much time on my hands. I've emotionally invested time on another reality show...damnit!

"And oh yeah, Chloe was a political prisoner in Southeast Asia for a few years."
Tim Gunn suddenly cuts her off and says now let me see the clothes. Geez!

Those idiot bitches are suing because Clay is gay?
What. The. Fuck.
Bitches, please. Not everything has to be a lawsuit. I know you all can't pay your bills, so yall sit around thinking of all the dumbass things to get an extra buck. Get yourselves some lives, please. I can't stand people like that. As if we didn't already know, it was only a matter of time before something slipped out him. And what-- now let's take advantage of the situation and try to get some money and 15 minutes along the way? What's wrong with people? It makes me just want to scratch someone's eyes out!

Hi:
Those women should have a law suit filed against them for being believing Clay was straight in the first place. Then they shoud all be ordered to go to counseling for being yet another group of women who lust after gay men.
We all know Santino won't win. The writers of the show just created that whole drama with Santino, Chloe, and Daniel V to create suspense. Daniel V will get his act together and emerge the winner.

OMG... I can't wait to hear what Kathy Griffin has to say about the Claymates suing.
I thought I'd heard of a lot of stupid lawsuits before, but this takes the cake. They need to go to counseling because they are a group of women who are BOTHERED by the fact that they lusted after a gay man (and, in a different vein, one that looks twelve...)
I am bugged by the fact that they haven't mentioned or stated why Kara got to do a design line for fashion week.
