Watch this clip.
It's one of a series of movie trailers that have been re-cut to appear as if they are of a different genre. This one: Sleepless In Seattle is made into a horror film. Love it.

Okay, enough monkeying around. On to business:
2) Read an interview with the writer of Making Love, about the cinematic phenomenon that is "Most Oscar Nominations Of 2006" Brokeback Mountain.
If you have not yet seen Making Love--and you probably haven't--this (pretty good) 80's movie stars Harry Hamlin and Kate Jackson in a story of a married man who has an affair with (gasp!) another man. It was the first mainstream movie to show a positive image of gay dudes getting it on, although unlike Brokeback they used body doubles in a lot of the kissing/sex scenes. I rented it years ago, specifically because my very first crush as a kid was on Harry Hamlin, most notably from Clash Of The Titans. That toga! Schwing! He also starred in L.A. Law, which my parents thought I was watching for the courtroom drama. Ha. I loved him. I wanted to tickle the cleft in his chin. With my tongue. While taking off his lawyer clothes and throwing them all around his office. I love you Michael Kuzak!!!
Okay, moment's over. Anyway--put it on your NetFlix list and save it for a rainy Sunday. Making Love, I mean. Clash Of The Titans...uh, not so much.
