I'm Dead Inside
Dear Tyra:
Last night's episode of Top Model was some serious bull*&%t. Don't you ever again tease me with clips of crying models having meltdowns in Italy, and instead show me a "recap" episode with virtually nothing new. That was cold, calculated, and conniving, and watching it made me feel used and dirty. I even left the gym EARLY to make it home in time to see you, and had to argue with my niece for 5 minutes until I could convince her to let me turn off her Sleeping Beauty DVD so we could "watch the funny skinny ladies." And then, the let-down.
American Idol's lackluster season has already tarnished my spirit. I'm relying on you to lead me back into the light.
You're still the fiercest.
Hugs.
Dan

I loved the scene with Kevin Aviance and the other drag queens. For that it was kinda worth it. And the shade match between Janice and Jay.

April dances like Elaine from "Seinfeld." I was just waiting for her to do Elaine's little kick-move. That clip, and the shade-ing between Janice and Jay, made it all worth it.

Seriously, is this the worst crop of no-talents on American Idol this year or what. And thank GOD I didn't miss Shandi's breakdown. I was out to dinner and was frantic all night because I thought I was missing something.

I was so mad about that episode. They couldn't be honest in their previews last week about this week's episode so the ratings wouldn't go down. Damn those producers!

See, this is why I watch top model on wednesday night repeat nights rather than the original tuesday night airings. I've got an office pal who watches on Tuesdays (so that I may watch the crappy American Idol for sheer fact that I worship crap-tv), and then she can warn me if I'm in for a repeat of Top Model. So I was spared! Let this be a lesson: get a "Tuesday buddy" system going.

OH I was bitter. Bitter, I tell you. I'm glad other's felt as cheated as I did.
Oh how I longed for a good Shandi break-down.
